Mr. Dagnachew Mekonnen Asfaw

Mr. Dagnachew Mekonnen Asfaw is a Partner at HLA with expertise in litigation, public law, regulatory compliance, and institutional advisory services.

He holds an LL.B from Mekelle University, an LL.M in Public International Law from Addis Ababa University, an LL.M in Business and Investment Law from Debre Berhan University, and is a Ph.D. candidate in Law at Addis Ababa University.

His professional experience spans public service, academia, and private practice, including roles as Federal Public Prosecutor at the Ministry of Justice, Legal Advisor to the Development Bank of Ethiopia, Legal Director of the Ethiopian Employers Federation, University Lecturer, and Research Coordinator.

Mr. Dagnachew advises clients on dispute resolution, investment and business matters, governance, regulatory issues, and complex legal research assignments.
