Mr. Wendwesen Befekadu Etana

Mr. Wendwesen Befekadu Etana is a Partner and Litigation and Dispute Resolution Director at Habesha Legal Advocates LLP (HLA). He leads the Firm's litigation and dispute resolution practice, advising clients on complex disputes, legal risks, and strategic approaches to resolving legal matters.

He holds an LL.B degree in Law from Haramaya University and has extensive professional experience in litigation, legal advisory services, and court representation. He began his legal career as a Public Prosecutor at the Ethiopian General Attorney Office, where he handled civil and criminal matters and developed strong expertise in legal analysis, case management, and judicial processes.

Since 2017, Mr. Wendwesen has practiced as an advocate, representing clients before courts and providing legal advice across a broad range of civil, commercial, and criminal matters. His experience includes litigation strategy, dispute resolution, legal research, and development of practical solutions to complex legal challenges.

Mr. Wendwesen is fluent in Amharic, Tigrigna, and English, with working knowledge of French. He brings extensive courtroom experience, strong advocacy skills, and a practical approach to dispute resolution, supporting HLA's clients in achieving effective legal outcomes.
